Knights of Columbus

Cortez Knights of Columbus Council 4209 is a men’s service organization in the Catholic Church – living faith in action.  They conduct local fundraisers and service projects, such as sponsoring the lenten Fish Suppers on Friday evenings.  They also provide a ceremonial presence at many activities — one example is the Our Lady of Guadalupe parade.

The Cortez chapter of Knights of Columbus meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7pm at the office building next to St. Margaret Mary church.

Cortez Knights of Columbus Council 4209 has established an endowment fund to honor the memory of deceased members of Knights of Council 4209.  The earnings from this fund are used to provide scholarships for deserving students to help defray the cost of post secondary eduction at an accredited institution of higher learning.  The Knights Memorial Scholarship Fund is administered by ONWARD!, a Legacy Foundation.
