An act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe You are truly present in the most Blessed Sacrament.
I love You above all things and I desire to possess You within my soul.
Since I am unable now to receive You Sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as being already there, and I unite myself wholly to You;
never permit me to be separated from You.

St. Thomas Aquinas once defined a Spiritual Communion as “an ardent desire to receive Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament [in Communion at Mass] and in lovingly embracing Him as if we had actually received Him.”
